About Tampah in South Lombok
The bay is called Tampah Bay and is located between Mawun and Mawi. The beach closest to the land is called Lancing beach. The area is very peaceful and undeveloped at the moment, but this is off course not for long. Tampah is also nextdoor to the more famous Selong Belanak, where luxury villas, resorts and hotels are being developed quickly. Recently Tampah has been made famous in the Tampah Hills project. The Tampah beach is known as the cleanest beach on Lombok and the local people are working hard to maintain that reputation. The local people also understand that tourists and travellers come to relax on Lombok and should not be constantly asked to buy bracelets or fresh coconuts which is very nice and actually makes you spend more money on the beach. Hopefully the Tampah tactics will be spread to all beaches.

Tampah Hill Land Infrastructure Status
Access:
There are several options to build the access road to the land. There is an agreement between the previous owner and his family that an access road can be built and there are also far gone plans to build the access road, but due to a shortage of excavators on Lombok, the building plans have been delayed.
Electricity:
Electricity power lines in the area connects the village to the electrical grid managed by the State Electricity Company (PLN). Other options growing fast in popularity is to use solar power together with for example the Tesla Power Wall.
Water:
The area is green and highly cultivated due to vast amounts of ground water so using water from a public well or drilling a private well are both good options.
Sewer:
The development will probably need to invest in a private sewer system, which is very common when building a villa or hotel on Lombok.
Telecommunications:
There are already several telecommunication companies providing phone and internet services in the area. Satellite based internet is also generally available.
